PEM riveting

In the case of PEM riveting, fasteners are pressed into metal plates.
During the procedure, the fasteners are not distorted, the proper joint is achieved by cold forging of the base plate. We can use this technology to provide thin plates with load-bearing threads, spacers, wire fasteners, etc.
The rivets can be made of stainless steel, aluminum or galvanized steel. In most cases, the rivets do not protrude beyond the plate.

We use the PEMSERTER® Series 4, a 53.4kN manual feed pneumatic press.
It has a stand with a storage cabinet, a resettable stroke counter, a reliable  echanical safety system, a penetration depth of 457 mm, it can be used in steel up to M10 fastener size, and in softer materials up to M12 size. Easy-to-use machine with minimal maintenance requirements.
